Vera 2 WIP pt.2x by Aspiring-Artist22 Vera 2 WIP pt.2x by Aspiring-Artist22
Version2x: I removed the monster because I'm going to be creating more layers, and I realized putting all of the line art on one layer is going to get really confusing and messy. I also added more highlight, shade and shadow (still needs more in some areas).

-Changed the color scheme
-I'm still developing the boot design, I got some ideas from looking at the DSW catalog with my girlfriend lol
-I gave her a short sleeve tunic :D
-I need to work on my monster drawing skills ^^;

If you notice any adjustments that I need to make or maybe you have ideas for the design, I will take them into consideration. Any help is appreciated.

OR, if you just want to be nice and comment, I appreciate those as well lol :D

Wow, this is nice 0.0 I love the hair, it flows in a really nice way, and the folds in the clothes pull in the right way... I just noticed the triforce on her boot lmfao

Thanks for the kind and thoughtful comment :D I took my time with the folds in her clothes and I'm glad my effort paid off lol
The triforce on her boot will be an important part of her character. I'm developing her story. I'm actually thinking of making a comic since I just recently got Manga Studio :w00t:

Dude, which Manga studio? I use Manga studio EX 4 and it's awesome, I'm starting to use GIMP and can't judge it yet

I think that's the same version I have lol
I tried to use it once and it looks like there is a lot of technical things I need to learn. Is it difficult to use?

Kind of... It's a awkward layout unless you have all the beginners stuff up, and even then there's no smudge that works, or different brush textures, so I'm taking a liking to GIMP, though I'm still new to it... Idk on manga studio thou, it could just be I haven't figured it all out yet

I've never tried GIMP. Is that for comic creation as well?

I think you can if you download the right templates, but it's not like Manga Studio where 80%+ is soley for putting the pages together.

And an idea...I know you designed a sword for her. You should have her impale the sword (top down) through the dead monster. Like she just finished him off =D

I haven't drawn the sword in here yet because I might redesign it to better match her new look. I also may not change because I don't want her to look too cliche. I planned on having her look as if she was posing after killing a huge monster. The sword would be left in the monster, but she won't be holding the weapon.
